🌙 When the Moon Loved a Song
When the moon fell in love with a song,
it would rest upon the gentle shoulder of the wind.
It bestowed upon her a river of light,
flowing through the secret gardens of cloud and silence.
Its banks were wrought of pearls,
and its waves of molten silver in motion.
Upon its shimmering face,
fleets of tiny star-born boats would drift,
seeking the distant harbours of dreams.
And every star,
when it touched the river’s living waters,
was transformed into a white butterfly—
as though a spark of light had slipped free
from the very heart of the water itself.
Between its wings it carried
a newly born message of love.
When dawn approached,
the butterflies gathered in quiet reverence
around the song,
and from their fragile wings they wove
a crown of light
turning slowly across the heavens.
The moon smiled in stillness,
and understood at last
that beautiful dreams do not perish—
they are reborn
as another sky.
